About the
ECRCA was founded to more smoothly orchestrate events on the East Coast, such as coordinating a series of feeder races beginning in the spring and allowing boats to move along a simple migratoty path depending on the season (north in spring, south in the fall). We alse work with OAs to build participation in racing events, principally with racer-cruiser boats and using the ORR-Ez rating system.
We highly recommend clubs and OAs use
Regatta Management Solutions for their events, both as a registration option and a scoring option.
RMS offers a powerful suite of programming that makes registration a snap, can auto-populate a wide range of handicap ratings and can provide click-of-a-button instant scoring from the RC boat on a laptop or tablet.
We offer tutorials to anyone unfamiliar with the product, as with any powerful array of administrative software, there is a bit of a learning curve. But it's not a steep curve!
